After years of rumors, Ubisoft has officially confirmed that Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced will be revealed this Thursday, April 23.

The full world premiere is set for a special showcase airing at 6:00 PM CEST / 4:00 PM UTC / 9:00 AM PDT on Ubisoft’s official Twitch and YouTube channels. While the official confirmation is straightforward, the “Resynced” in the title suggests we’re looking at more than just a simple resolution bump for Edward Kenway’s Caribbean adventure.
Originally released in 2013, Black Flag remains a titan of the franchise, reaching over 34 million players as of last year. Its blend of naval combat and assassin lore set a bar that many feel the series hasn’t quite cleared since. Whether this is a full-scale remake or a massive remaster remains to be seen, but with the reveal just days away, we won’t have to wait long to see how Ubisoft is bringing this fan favorite into the modern era.
