Italian independent developer Stormind Games has announced Remothered: Tormented Fathers Remastered and Remothered: Broken Porcelain Remastered. These fully remastered editions will see the first two chapters of the psychological survival horror franchise completely rebuilt from the ground up using Unreal Engine 5. The announcement comes ahead of the franchise’s upcoming third installment, which is slated to debut later this year.

The studio aims to preserve the core gameplay, atmospheric tension, and narrative identity of the original titles while elevating the presentation to meet modern technical standards. Leveraging Unreal Engine 5, both remasters will introduce realistic lighting powered by Lumen technology, alongside richer, highly detailed environments utilizing 4K textures and Nanite geometry. Additionally, the titles will feature enhanced character models, redesigned user interfaces, and updated cinematic sequences.
Both overhauls are also set to resolve legacy bugs present in the original releases while delivering comprehensive stability and gameplay quality adjustments. Tormented Fathers Remastered will return you to Rosemary Reed’s investigation inside the Felton mansion, while Broken Porcelain Remastered revisits the tragic history of the Ashmann Inn.
Further details regarding the launch platforms and specific release dates will be disclosed in the coming months.
