Independent publisher Silver Lining Interactive, alongside development partners Dotemu, Guard Crush Games, and Supamonks, has officially announced that the critically acclaimed roguelite Absolum – we reviewed the PC edition of this title last year – will make its physical debut on the Nintendo Switch 2 on September 17, 2026.

Absolum fuses the kinetic, high-octane combat of classic arcade side-scrollers with the unpredictable progression structures of a modern roguelite. Players plunge into the war-torn realm of Talamh, an oppressed fantasy landscape where the tyrannical Sun King Azra has suppressed natural magic through his ruthless Crimson Order.
