A massive wave of content is heading to Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 and Call of Duty: Warzone with the upcoming launch of Season 04 Reloaded on June 25. The extensive mid-season update introduces a variety of new and remastered multiplayer environments, a fresh round-based Zombies map, specialized co-op operations, and a themed “Summer of Action” event series led by Nick Cage.

The competitive multiplayer component receives both fresh and legacy battlegrounds. Players can break through Zenith, a luxury cliffside complex featuring tight corridors and vertical drop zones, alongside the return of Launch – a fully remastered throwback map originally featured in the first Call of Duty: Black Ops. This classic map also joins Fringe, Hacienda, and Gridlock as a permanent addition to the newly stabilized Black Ops Classic map rotation. For playlist updates, tactical squads can jump into Team Blueprint Sharpshooter, a mode where weapon blueprints dynamically shift mid-match based on elimination streaks, or strip away ranged firearms entirely in the close-quarters Knife Fight lobby.
Cooperative survival enthusiasts are heading to Kowakujō, the next round-based Zombies gauntlet set inside a burning, dark-aether iteration of a feudal Japanese castle surrounded by active volcanoes. This hazardous fortress introduces the Oni – a lightning-infused supernatural enemy type wielding heavy kanabō clubs – alongside charred zombies and flame-driven Hellhounds. To counter the threat, teams can extract an all-new Wonder Weapon from the Mystery Box, summon friendly protective familiars using the Hellping Hound GobbleGum, or activate the Ghostly Rifleman Trap to manifest the spirits of ancient musketeers.
Concurrently, Call of Duty: Warzone shifts into the warmer months as Rebirth Island gets a sunny makeover, clearing away its winter elements while keeping recent structural landmarks like the Turbine facility intact. Elite trios can test their coordination in Squad Gun Game, racing to cycle through a gauntlet of firearms on Resurgence maps, while top-tier squads can look forward to the return of Champion’s Quest contracts to force explosive match closures. Finally, standalone narrative content arrives via Endgame: Operation King Killer, a ten-tier challenge zone tracking elite tactical strikes against the Guild’s central command network.
The mid-season drop ties everything together with major crossover events and structural store updates. The headline attraction is the “Summer of Action” Event Pass spearheaded by Nick Cage, allowing players to unlock event-exclusive cosmetics, weapon camos, loadout items, and bonus XP tokens. This is paired with a Daily Login reward track and the custom Kowakujō challenge event.
