Publisher Atari and solo developer Jasozz Games have officially announced that the critically acclaimed retro first-person shooter CULTIC is heading to consoles on July 23. Originally launched on PC via Steam in 2022 to “Overwhelmingly Positive” reviews, the shooter will deploy across PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch 2.

Inspired by ’90s tactical classics like Jedi Knight: Dark Forces 2 and Resident Evil 4, the title layers high-precision gunplay over a gritty, pixelated 3D aesthetic. The combat design accommodates both aggressive run-and-gun movement patterns and slow, methodical exploration. The game has gained significant traction within the retro-shooter space for its heavy environmental interactivity, advanced physics systems, and modernized accessibility options.
The upcoming console launch serves as a complete edition priced at $19.98, bundling CULTIC: Chapter One and CULTIC: Chapter Two into a single package. This comprehensive edition features 23 distinct campaign maps packed with intense combat against twisted cultist factions. Once the main narrative chapters are completed, players can test their endurance and positioning skills in a wave-based Survival Mode.
