Skybound Entertainment’s in-house game studio, Quarter Up, has officially launched Season 1 for its 3v3 tag-team fighting game, Invincible VS. Premiering its launch trailer during Evo 2026, the major update introduces new DLC characters, competitive balance adjustments, and an early look at the game’s roadmap for the remainder of the year.
The headline additions for Season 1 are the debut DLC fighters Universa and The Immortal, both included in the Deluxe Edition, Collector’s Edition, and the Year 1 Pass. Universa joins the roster as a balanced, technical fighter who grows exponentially stronger as her Boost Meter fills. Meanwhile, The Immortal arrives as a heavy-hitting Strike Fighter engineered to maintain relentless pressure and close distances rapidly. Additionally, the update implements a brand-new Endless Arcade mode alongside a fresh batch of cosmetic items.
Looking ahead, Quarter Up outlined its three-season live-service roadmap for 2026. Season 2 is scheduled for October, introducing Angstrom Levy as a portal-wielding zoner, with hands-on previews planned for Evo France. Season 3 will follow in December to close out the year. On the esports front, the studio detailed its Competitive Support Program, confirming major tournament presence at upcoming events like UK’s VS Fighting XIV in July and Community Effort Orlando (CEO) 2026 in August. Physical boxed editions, including a bonus-heavy PlayStation 5 Collector’s Edition, are now available at retailers worldwide.
Invincible VS is available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam and Microsoft Store.
