Publisher Hooded Horse and developer Amplitude Studios have released the next major Early Access update for ENDLESS Legend 2. The latest patch focuses heavily on overhauling the game’s questing mechanics, introducing visual reworks, and outlining the next phase of development with an updated roadmap.
This update directly addresses community feedback by delivering reworked questlines for two major factions. The Kin of Sheredyn, one of the game’s most popular factions, receives a significant suite of new and redesigned narrative arcs. Meanwhile, the Necrophage faction has had its quests modified to better emphasize its identity as a fear-inducing swarm intent on consuming the planet.
Supporting these narrative changes is a completely revamped quest interface designed to improve how dialogue and lore text are processed. Quests now display in a larger window featuring stunning new 2D artwork, clear scene-setting text, and an integrated autoplay system.
Additionally, players will notice quality-of-life enhancements to the in-game resource panel. Looking ahead, the newly published roadmap confirms that upcoming Early Access milestones will introduce faction-based world quests and minor faction asymmetry.
The turn-based strategy game is available in Early Access on PC via Steam, the Epic Games Store, and the Microsoft Store for $49.99 / €49.99. To celebrate the update, a 40% discount is live on Steam from now until July 9, 2026.
