Developer Behaviour Interactive has launched Monopoly: Star Wars Heroes vs. Villains, a dynamic, team-based digital twist on the classic board game. Shifting away from standard capitalist simulation, this adaptation introduces action-packed tactical combat and faction warfare across iconic sci-fi locales. The title is available now for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, GeForce Now, and PC via the Ubisoft Store.

The game features 22 iconic locations spanning multiple Star Wars eras and includes a massive roster of 28 heroes and villains, each equipped with one of 14 unique abilities. Victory conditions have been completely overhauled: instead of bankrupting opponents, the winner is determined by Influence Points, which are accumulated by purchasing and upgrading planetary properties.
Matches can pivot instantly via dynamic GO events that add or subtract substantial amounts of Influence Points. Additionally, landing on the same space as another character triggers a brand-new combat system – a high-stakes dice duel where players clash directly for control of that location. The digital board game supports both online and local co-op play across dedicated 2v2 and 3v3 team modes.
