SEGA and developer Sports Interactive have announced that Football Manager 26, the latest iteration of the long-running football management series, will launch on November 4 for PC via Steam, Epic Games Store, and Microsoft Store, as well as for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, iOS, and Android (via Netflix). Football Manager 26 Touch for Nintendo Switch will follow on December 4.

Built on the Unity engine for the first time, Football Manager 26 brings a reimagined user interface that gives players greater control over every career-defining decision. The overhaul extends to matchday presentation with enhanced volumetric animations, upgraded on-pitch visuals, and immersive experiences that heighten the drama of every game. The Premier League returns as a fully-licensed showcase, complete with official club logos, kits, and player photos, while the integration of Women’s Football marks a significant expansion of the series’ universe, backed by a comprehensive database and multiple licensed competitions.
Despite the transition to a new engine, save game compatibility ensures that players can continue careers from Football Manager 2024 and Football Manager 2023 across PC, console, and Switch versions. Mobile players will also benefit from save game compatibility for Football Manager 24 Mobile careers, marking the first time this functionality appears in the mobile series. Additional improvements cover transfers, tactics, manager creation, and controller integration, providing both new and returning players with an enriched managerial experience.
Pre-purchase options for PC and Mac began on September 10, offering a 10 percent discount and early access approximately two weeks prior to the official release. Advanced Access allows managers to start their careers ahead of launch and continue seamlessly when the game officially goes live.
