Chronospace has unveiled the official gameplay reveal trailer for War Mechanic, its upcoming open-world action adventure set in an alternate history where World War II never truly ended.

The game follows Jack Wallace, a mercenary tasked with reactivating a long-abandoned military base on the remote Nordhook Island. What begins as a simple contract quickly unravels into a dangerous fight for survival, as Jack encounters hostile machines, hidden bunkers, and the remnants of a war that has refused to fade.
Built in Unreal Engine 5 with Lumen technology, War Mechanic blends open-world exploration, crafting, and high-intensity combat. Players can scavenge resources, build and customize equipment, and fortify their base while taking on missions in Nordhook’s varied landscapes—from windswept beaches and rusting fortifications to underground facilities and wrecked military hardware.
The gameplay trailer showcases the game’s retro-futuristic aesthetic, combining 1950s-era style with advanced robotics, as well as glimpses of the large-scale firefights against rogue sentries, kamikaze drones, and towering mechanical bosses.
War Mechanic is coming soon to PC via Steam.
