Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 Launches Season 05 with Mass New Content on July 23

Activision has announced that Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 and Call of Duty: Warzone will kick off Season 05 on July 23, 2026. The massive seasonal update introduces a heavy lineup of maps, modes, and features across all major areas of play, alongside a fresh Battle Pass introducing Operator Spectre and BlackCell content featuring Cipher.

Multiplayer fans can look forward to the brand-new 6v6 map Jubilee – themed around a Japanese countryside festival – alongside remastered versions of classic maps Dig and Frequency. Later in the season, players can explore a pinball-themed arena in Turbo Tilt and tackle parkour challenges in a dedicated Freerun map.

On the Zombies front, players will travel to the frozen Eidskallen Lighthouse for a new Survival experience set within a confined section of Totenreich. Additionally, the story-focused Directed Mode is arriving for the Kowakujō map, ahead of an epic mid-season finale confronting the Warden.

Over in Call of Duty: Warzone, the airspace above Verdansk is set to change with the arrival of Drone Labs, a major new point of interest located south of Quarry. The battle royale experience will also introduce the Juggernaut Public Event and the Hunter Killer Drone killstreak, alongside a fresh season of Resurgence Ranked Play. To round out the update, four new weapons are entering the arsenal, led by the FG42 Assault Rifle and the dual-wield Gremlin SMG available right at launch.
