NACON and Lyon-based Artefacts Studio have released the first official gameplay trailer for MXGP 26, the official videogame of the FIM Motocross World Championship. Scheduled to launch in October 2026 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, the upcoming title introduces significant technical and physics overhauls for the franchise.

Powered by a transition to Unreal Engine 5, MXGP 26 aims for photorealism with detailed mud textures, environmental lighting, and dynamic bike components. A major addition to gameplay is real-time dynamic track deformation, where bikes dig deep, persistent ruts into the ground round after round, forcing riders to continually adapt their racing lines. Coupled with rebuilt motorcycle physics and a first-person helmet camera perspective, the title emphasizes high immersion alongside dynamic rider body movements and progressive bike degradation.
The game features the complete official 2026 season content, including tracks such as Bariloche, Riola Sardo, Pietramurata, and Loket. Players will be able to race as top MXGP and MX2 riders like Romain Febvre, Maxime Renaux, Kay de Wolf, and Calvin Vlaanderen, while utilizing a full customization suite for riders and official bikes from manufacturers like Kawasaki, Husqvarna, Yamaha, KTM, and Honda.
