NIS America is bringing The Legend of Heroes: Trails from Zero and The Legend of Heroes: Trails to Azure to PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch 2 this fall, giving Falcom’s beloved Crossbell arc another modern platform expansion. Both RPGs will be sold separately through digital storefronts, while a physical Crossbell Collection bundle will also be available for players looking to own the duology together.

The new versions include technical upgrades such as 4K resolution, support for up to 120 FPS, and enhanced visual options including original or upscaled textures. Switch 2 players will also gain mouse input support, adding another control option for navigating Crossbell’s story-rich adventures.
Trails from Zero follows Lloyd Bannings as he returns home to Crossbell and joins the city’s unconventional Special Support Section, while Trails to Azure continues that story as political tensions between major powers push Crossbell toward a larger crisis. Together, the two titles form one of the most important narrative arcs in the broader Trails universe, blending deep political storytelling with turn-based combat and character-driven progression.
With performance enhancements and expanded platform reach, this latest re-release gives both longtime fans and newcomers another opportunity to experience one of Falcom’s most celebrated storylines.
