Publisher Koei Tecmo and developer Team NINJA have officially announced that Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty Complete Edition will make its way to the Nintendo Switch 2 on September 3, 2026. The dark fantasy action-RPG originally debuted its base version on March 3, 2023, across PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.

Set during a demon-plagued, dark fantasy interpretation of the Late Han Dynasty, the story follows a nameless militia soldier fighting for survival across a chaotic Three Kingdoms setting. The gameplay blends historic Chinese martial arts with fast-paced, high-stakes combat loops heavily reminiscent of Team NINJA’s Nioh series. Central to the tactical layer is the game’s unique Morale system, where defeating powerful enemies boosts a player’s combat rating and unlocks devastating elemental Wizardry Spells. Survival relies on mastering tight deflect windows to shatter enemy spirit gauges and unleash high-damage critical strikes against corrupt warlords and underworld monsters.
The upcoming Nintendo Switch 2 edition houses the complete historical anthology of Wo Long content. It natively bundles the core campaign alongside all three major narrative expansions: Battle of Zhongyuan, Conqueror of Jiangdong, and Upheaval in Jingxiang. Beyond the expansive story additions, the collection grants immediate access to premium bonus cosmetic packs, including the Qinglong, Zhuque, and Baihu armor sets. Players will also receive the specific Complete Edition purchase bonus item, Shiji, an extremely useful structural item that permanently reveals all hidden Battle Flag and Marking Flag locations across the player’s in-game mini-map to streamline exploration.
