Indie developer Vokeev has announced Reoxia, a single-player first-person shooter built on the Unity3D engine. Currently in production for a Windows PC release via Steam, the title is scheduled to launch in the third quarter of 2027.

In Reoxia’s 12-to-16-hour narrative campaign, you step into the shoes of an astronaut who returns to Earth only to find the planet devastated by an outbreak of an unknown disease. Because the atmosphere remains highly toxic, you must navigate the environment entirely within your spacesuit to avoid breathing the contaminated air. Survival hinges on evading and combatting bloodthirsty mutants, infected creatures, and mysterious armed factions actively hunting you down.
The game implements non-linear storytelling elements alongside dynamic, real-time environment systems that directly affect your tactical approach. Both the time of day and shifting weather patterns dictate your choices; for example, human enemies face reduced visibility at night and during heavy fog, making it easier for you to use stealth, while monsters become notably more aggressive after dark. To succeed, you must explore abandoned regions, solve environmental puzzles, collect resources to upgrade your statistics, and choose your own entry points for combat engagements.
Reoxia is slated for a Q3 2027 release on PC via Steam.
