NVIDIA has released a major update for GeForce RTX users, headlined by a new Game Ready Driver and a hardware bundle for the upcoming 007 First Light. The update provides launch-day optimizations for several high-profile titles, including Forza Horizon 6, Directive 8020, and Subnautica 2, all of which feature integrated DLSS technology.

Forza Horizon 6 leads the rollout, featuring a detailed recreation of Japan and support for DLSS 4.5. Players on the GeForce RTX 50 series can utilize “Dynamic Multi Frame Generation 6X” to achieve performance increases of up to 5.2x, pushing frame rates above 330 FPS on an RTX 5090 at 4K resolution.
Additionally, Battlefield 6 has entered Season 3, introducing the “Railway to Golmud” map – a redesigned Battlefield 4 classic set in Tajikistan – supported by DLSS Multi Frame Generation and NVIDIA Reflex. Meanwhile, Resident Evil Requiem has received a free “Leon Must Die Forever” mode, utilizing path-traced lighting and DLSS Ray Reconstruction to enhance the experience for RTX players.
Other titles receiving RTX enhancements include Directive 8020 with path tracing, Subnautica 2 in Early Access, and a version 2.0 update for Blades of Fire.
In anticipation of its May 27 release, 007 First Light is now part of a GeForce RTX 50 series bundle. Customers purchasing qualifying RTX 5090, 5080, 5070 Ti, 5070, or 5060 Ti hardware will receive a Steam copy of the game. The technical partnership with IO Interactive ensures the game launches with DLSS 4.5 support, while a follow-up update in summer 2026 will introduce full path tracing and DLSS Ray Reconstruction.
