Frogwares has released the first official look at The Sinking City 2, showcasing the dark, waterlogged streets of Arkham in a new gameplay teaser. The sequel is set to launch for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam, Epic Games Store, and GoG this summer, with an exact release date yet to be announced.

Shifting the series toward a dedicated survival horror experience, the Ukrainian developer is utilizing Unreal Engine 5 to bring Lovecraft’s 1920s United States to life with Nanite geometry and Lumen illumination.
This sequel moves away from the pure investigation focus of the original, leaning heavily into a classic survival formula that features resource management, backtracking, and visceral combat against iconic eldritch threats like Deep Ones and Mi-gos.
While the footage represents a work-in-progress build, it highlights the game’s emphasis on atmosphere and environmental storytelling, promising a sprawling labyrinth of decrepit mansions and flooded alleys filled with cosmic horrors.
