Publisher Secret Mode and developer Fuse Games have officially announced that Star Wars: Galactic Racer will launch on October 8 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC (via Steam and Epic Games Store).

Moving away from the Jedi-centric stories of late, Galactic Racer focuses on the vacuum left behind by the Empire’s fall. In this era of the New Republic, the galaxy’s underground has turned to a dangerous new obsession: The Galactic League. This is an unsanctioned, runs-based racing circuit where syndicates pull the strings and pilot skill is the only thing that matters – no Force powers or ancient prophecies required.
Players take on the role of Shade, a racer navigating a story-driven campaign full of shifting alliances and high-speed takedowns. The game promises a mix of solo play and strategic 5v5 PvP, with a heavy emphasis on customization across various classes of repulsorcraft.
Editions and Pre-orders
The game is launching with three distinct tiers:
- Standard Edition ($59.99): The base game.
- Deluxe Edition ($79.99): Includes a digital art book, three exclusive Kor Sarun vehicles (Darc X, Ciza T, and Rak S), unique arcade events, and a livery pack. Physical copies also come with a steelbook.
- Collector’s Edition ($159.99): The big one for fans, featuring a physical model of the Darc X landspeeder, a champion banner, pilot patches, and a physical art book.
If you pre-order any version, you’ll snag a bonus livery (with a color unique to your platform) and a multiplayer banner background.
