The platform’s latest infrastructure push means nearly the entire Ready to Play library is now backed by RTX 5080 virtual rigs, bringing higher-end cloud performance closer to local GeForce RTX 50 Series standards. For Ultimate subscribers, this upgrade translates into support for up to 5K at 120 FPS or 1080p at 360 FPS, alongside DLSS 4, NVIDIA Reflex, and advanced ray tracing. Rather than positioning cloud gaming purely around convenience, NVIDIA continues pushing GeForce NOW as a premium performance platform, emphasizing lower latency and visual parity with high-end hardware.
On the content side, May’s lineup includes several major releases with day-one cloud support, including Forza Horizon 6 on May 19 and 007 First Light on May 27, alongside titles such as Heroes of Might and Magic: Olden Era, Deep Rock Galactic: Rogue Core, and Luna Abyss.
Beyond new releases, GeForce NOW is also marking Firaxis’ 30th anniversary by bringing strategy classics to its Install-to-Play ecosystem, paired with related Steam promotions. Between major AAA launches, indie additions, and upgraded hardware reach, NVIDIA is positioning May as both a software and performance milestone for its cloud platform.
