It’s been a decade since the last entry, but Bandai Namco has now officially unveiled Dragon Ball Xenoverse 3, a massive new chapter in the franchise created by the legendary Akira Toriyama. Shown off at Dragon Ball Games Battle Hour 2026, the game is set to take players far into the future.
Rather than just revisiting the same old sagas, Xenoverse 3 aims to be an “undiscovered” experience. As shown in the reveal trailer, Dragon Ball Xenoverse 3 invites you to discover new stories within West City, a bustling world set in the new setting known as AGE 1000.
The game emphasizes player identity, allowing you to become the hero you want to be as you join the ranks of the Great Saiyan Squad. It’s a setup that leans into that ‘superhero’ vibe, where you’ll fight alongside allies as the events of this new era begin to unfold.

While we’ll have to wait until 2027 for the full release on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and PC, the footage suggests a heavy emphasis on player agency and narrative depth within this new timeline.
Bandai Namco promises more details in the coming months, but for a series that has been dormant for ten years, the return to Xenoverse feels like a major milestone for the fans.
