Gothic Classic, Gothic II Complete Classic, and Gothic 3 Classic are scheduled to release across PlayStation 4 & 5 and Xbox One & Series X|S throughout 2026, with the rollout beginning July 28 and continuing into November. The titles are published by THQ Nordic, with an additional Switch 2 version planned for Gothic 3 Classic.

The reintroduction of the Gothic trilogy brings its interconnected world of Myrtana back into focus, starting with Gothic Classic on July 28. Set within a prison colony sealed by a magical barrier, the story unfolds through faction-driven conflict and a living world shaped by routine and consequence. That structure continues in Gothic II Complete Classic, arriving September 29, where the collapse of the barrier shifts instability beyond the mines and into surrounding regions, expanding both narrative scope and world density.
By November 24, Gothic 3 Classic extends the setting into a broader war-torn mainland, where political tension between factions such as rebels, orcs, and southern forces defines progression. Its open structure emphasizes player-driven outcomes, supported by a class-free system and a world with minimal boundaries, allowing exploration and conflict to unfold with fewer constraints.
Across the trilogy, progression is rooted in systems that prioritize immersion over abstraction, including teacher-based character development, large NPC populations with daily routines, and a wide range of combat and spell options. Physical editions are planned for multiple platforms depending on the release, while Gothic Classic is also available as a pre-order bonus for Gothic Remake, granting early access ahead of its standalone console launch.
