Developer Reakktor Studios and publisher Senatis have announced that G-Rebels, the action-packed flight simulation and spiritual successor to the PlayStation 1 classic G-Police, will launch in Early Access on PC via Steam on July 20, 2026.

Set across the sprawling Atlas Archipelago, G-Rebels drops players into high-stakes aerial combat and daring flight maneuvers above the neon-lit rooftops of massive megacities like Daevos. Following extensive community feedback from its initial Steam demo, the futuristic flight title is making the leap to its next phase with a massive influx of content, completely seamless open-world streaming free of loading screens, and an Insane Graphics Mode tailored specifically to push high-end PC hardware to its limits.
A major highlight of the upcoming launch is the debut of a native virtual reality mode. For the first time, players can don a VR headset to sit directly inside the first-person cockpit, drastically heightening immersion during intense dogfights.
According to Reakktor Studios, the Early Access phase will serve as a collaborative period with the community to continuously expand, polish, and refine the simulation. The Early Access release will include the game’s entire first chapter, delivering nine main narrative missions filled with twists and political intrigue, alongside ten varied side missions. Players can engage in everything from escort duties and assassination assignments to smuggling runs, outpost skirmishes, and high-speed racing challenges. The world itself is bolstered by modern tech features, incorporating dynamic weather patterns, volumetric clouds, realistic day/night cycles, and authentic 3D surround sound.
System requirements and further launch details are now live on the game’s official Steam page.
