The newly revealed open beta trailer marks the first hands-on opportunity to experience Invincible VS, a competitive tag-based fighter set in the universe of the acclaimed comic series. Developed by Quarter Up under Skybound Entertainment, the game adapts the world created by Robert Kirkman, Cory Walker, and Ryan Ottley into a fast-paced arena brawler built around team synergy and high-impact combat.
Participants in the beta can test a selection of 10 characters from the launch roster, including well-known names such as Mark Grayson, Omni-Man, and Atom Eve. Matches unfold across multiple arenas inspired by the source material, with gameplay systems that emphasize coordinated tagging, assist mechanics, and punishing combo chains designed for competitive play.
Several modes are available during the beta period, offering both onboarding and depth. A tutorial introduces core mechanics and advanced systems, while practice mode allows experimentation with fighters and strategies. Ranked mode adds a competitive layer, letting players earn points and climb leaderboards, with top performers earning a permanent nod in the game’s credits as ‘Beta Beasts’.

Those who take part in the open beta will also unlock an exclusive Omni-Man skin at launch, inspired by his recent animated series appearance, featuring a distinct bearded look. Alongside the beta announcement, new details surfaced regarding the physical editions, including multiple regional cover variants and a collector-focused edition featuring bonus content such as a steelbook and exclusive comic reprint.
