Another Eden Begins, a time-traveling, turn-based JRPG, will launch on September 17 for Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC via Steam, publisher Wright Flyer Studios and developer Studio Prisma have announced.

Positioned as a reimagined entry point into the Another Eden universe, Another Eden Begins introduces enhanced visuals and full English voiceovers while preserving the series’ narrative-driven structure. Studio Prisma head Shinnosuke Hirasawa described the project as a new way to experience the franchise’s world, developed in collaboration with veteran writer Masato Kato.
Set across multiple timelines, the story follows Aldo on a journey through past, present, and future to rescue his sister Feinne. Along the way, players will encounter a cast of more than 18 companions, each with their own storylines and relationship-driven quests that unlock additional narrative content.
Combat in Another Eden Begins is built around a strategic, turn-based system that emphasizes party composition and synergy between characters. Players can activate the “Another Force” mechanic to unleash powerful chain attacks capable of shifting the momentum of battle against stronger enemies.
Another Eden Begins‘ replayability is expanded through a New Game+ mode, allowing players to carry over progression, gear, and experience while pursuing alternate outcomes and up to ten different endings tied to a mysterious new character.
The game’s presentation is further supported by a soundtrack from renowned composer Yasunori Mitsuda, alongside orchestration by Procyon Studio. The main story also features a fully voiced English cast, returning from Another Eden: The Cat Beyond Time and Space.
