NVIDIA has rolled out DLSS 4.5, introducing Dynamic Multi Frame Generation and a new 6X Multi Frame Generation mode, now accessible through the latest beta version of the NVIDIA app for GeForce RTX GPUs.

Building on earlier iterations of its AI-driven rendering technology, DLSS 4.5 expands performance scaling and image quality through a second-generation transformer-based model. The headline addition, Dynamic Multi Frame Generation, adapts frame multiplication in real time, balancing framerate, responsiveness, and visual fidelity depending on the workload. Rather than relying on a fixed multiplier, the system dynamically adjusts output to maintain optimal performance across different scenarios.
For GeForce RTX 50-series hardware, NVIDIA is also introducing Multi Frame Generation 6X, increasing the maximum frame generation multiplier and allowing up to five additional frames to be created for every traditionally rendered frame. This enhancement is designed to push performance further, particularly in demanding scenarios such as 4K gaming with path tracing, while maintaining low latency through integration with NVIDIA Reflex.
Another update comes in the form of an improved Frame Generation model, which enhances clarity in user interface elements by incorporating additional data from the game engine. This refinement targets elements like mini-maps and HUD overlays, resulting in a cleaner and more stable visual presentation.
Together, these improvements aim to deliver smoother experiences across a range of display setups, from high-refresh 1080p and 1440p monitors to advanced 4K 240Hz OLED panels, while also supporting technologies like G-SYNC Pulsar for reduced motion blur and improved responsiveness.
The update also ties into ongoing game support. Titles like ARC Raiders and Marvel Rivals are receiving enhancements through DLSS integration, improving performance and responsiveness while maintaining visual quality. These updates align with NVIDIA’s broader push to integrate DLSS 4.5 features across upcoming and existing titles.
