Cult Vacui, a time-driven point-and-click adventure with survival horror elements, launches April 9, 2026 for PC via Steam and GOG.

Developed by Dionous Games and published by LBRTY games, the experience is set in the late 19th century on the remote Scottish island of Barra. The story begins with an ordinary arrival that quickly turns into a desperate fight for survival, as players step into the role of a janitor who stumbles upon the aftermath of a failed ritual carried out by a fanatical cult.
With the island’s population already consumed by the ritual, the situation escalates as it becomes clear that the final act is still approaching. Time becomes a constant pressure, as every action—whether exploration, puzzle-solving, or resource gathering—pushes events closer to an irreversible outcome.
The structure emphasizes decision-making and planning, encouraging different strategies across playthroughs. Multiple endings reflect how each situation is handled, while puzzles are designed to challenge without disrupting the pacing of the unfolding threat.
With its handcrafted pixel art bringing the isolated setting to life, atmosphere plays a key role in Cult Vacui, supported by a cinematic soundtrack that enhances the sense of unease. A playable demo is already available on Steam, offering an early look at its tension-driven design and narrative setup.
