Developer and publisher Influsion Inc. has announced that its upcoming first-person survival horror title, SENARA: The Sacrament, will officially launch on PC via Steam on July 30, 2026.
Set aboard a realistic, meticulously detailed 6,000-ton passenger ship recreated using photogrammetry and LiDAR scanning, SENARA: The Sacrament puts players in the shoes of a newly initiated member of a secretive religious cult as the vessel teeters on the edge of sinking. The title channels classic survival horror traditions mixed with Metroidvania-style progression, forcing players to manage highly restricted resources, solve complex structural puzzles, and decide whether to fight or bypass hostile cult fanatics and otherworldly entities.
SENARA‘s narrative relies heavily on environmental storytelling, leaving documents, dialogue fragments, and artifacts scattered across the complex corridors for players to piece together. This active interpretation, paired with critical moral crossroads, feeds into a branching multiple-ending system where player choices ultimately dictate the final fate of the vessel and its survivors.
Accompanying the release date announcement is a new gameplay trailer showcasing the tense exploration and claustrophobic terror awaiting players. To set the stage for the psychological nightmare, players can currently jump into the free demo and into a free standalone prologue episode on Steam, titled Before the Dawn: SENARA Prologue, which explores the past of a central character and establishes the early timeline of the ship’s descent into madness.
