Deadhaus Sonata is ramping up toward Early Access, with studio head Denis Dyack offering a new behind-the-scenes look at the long-anticipated action RPG’s current progress and future direction.

Deadhaus Sonata‘s latest update focuses on where development stands today, showcasing new work-in-progress gameplay footage, evolving systems, and a clearer sense of how the project is taking shape as launch approaches. Among the newest reveals is expanded footage of the vampire class, including shapeshifting mechanics that highlight the game’s growing emphasis on supernatural power and class identity.
Set in the ruined world of Malorum, Deadhaus Sonata is a third-person narrative-driven action RPG where players embody powerful undead factions – including vampires – as they wage war against the living. Designed for both solo play and cooperative multiplayer with up to six players, the game blends feeding mechanics, evolving class paths, and a tarot-inspired customization system to shape each player’s rise through a dark, decaying fantasy world.
With Steam Early Access now being actively teased, Deadhaus Sonata appears to be entering a more decisive phase – one that could finally bring its undead power fantasy to players in the near future.
