Warhammer Classics Initiative Revives Iconic Strategy and Action Titles on PC

The Warhammer Classics event is now live on Steam, reintroducing more than 20 legacy Warhammer titles in a modern, accessible format.

Introduced by publisher SNEG in collaboration with Games Workshop and multiple development partners, the initiative focuses on preserving classic Warhammer games while ensuring compatibility with current hardware. More than 20 titles have been restored, including several making their first appearance on Steam alongside others returning to the platform.

Spanning decades of PC gaming history, the event covers a wide range of genres, from real-time strategy and turn-based tactics to first-person shooters and digital board game adaptations. Notable additions include Warhammer: Shadow of the Horned Rat, Final Liberation: Warhammer Epic 40,000, Warhammer 40,000: Chaos Gate, and Warhammer: Dark Omen, alongside returning titles such as Space Hulk, Warhammer 40,000: Armageddon, and Warhammer Quest 2: The End Times.

Each game in Warhammer Classics has been updated to run smoothly on modern systems while preserving the original gameplay experience. All included titles are available with limited-time discounts and curated bundles for one week, providing the perfect opportunity to dive into the extensive catalog of classic Warhammer games.
