Sony Interactive Entertainment and Sucker Punch Productions revealed 20 minutes of gameplay for Ghost of Yōtei during a State of Play broadcast, alongside the announcement of two striking PlayStation 5 Limited Edition bundles. Fans will also be able to purchase themed console covers and DualSense controllers separately.

The Gold Limited Edition Bundle, inspired by Japanese kintsugi ceramic repair, symbolizes beauty through imperfection and mirrors the journey of the protagonist, Atsu. The Black Limited Edition Bundle, available exclusively via PlayStation Direct, channels Sumi‑e ink-painting traditions with bold brushstroke visuals. Both bundles include a matching DualSense controller featuring Atsu’s silhouette and come with a digital copy of Ghost of Yōtei, pre-order content, and seven PSN avatars.
Additionally, standalone console covers for PS5 Slim and PS5 Pro (Gold design) and both DualSense styles will be available in limited quantities. Creative Director Jason Connell noted that every element—from kintsugi effects and map iconography to Mount Yōtei’s central motif—was carefully integrated into the designs to evoke the game’s artistic and narrative core.
Ghost of Yōtei launches October 2. Fans can expect a rich, exploratory journey guided by Japanese tradition and modern storytelling—now supported by beautifully crafted hardware designs. Pre-orders are available on the PlayStation Store (BE/NL/US).
