DaRmaZat Hatchery Games has launched a new limited-time “Abyss” playtest for Voidling Bound on Steam, giving players a hands-on look at its escalating challenge mode following the latest reveal at the Second Wind Showcase.
Running through April 27, the test introduces a risk-reward loop where players descend into increasingly dangerous encounters, choosing to push deeper for greater rewards or retreat to safety. Along the way, new systems like Corrupted DNA Catalyzers allow further enhancement of Voidlings, pushing builds and combat potential even further.
Blending monster-taming with fast-paced action RPG combat, Voidling Bound has players form neural bonds with alien creatures and shape their evolution, abilities, and playstyles across hostile worlds.
The game is set to launch for PC via Steam and Epic Games Store on June 9, with PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and Switch 2 versions planned to follow at a later date.
