Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Empire City is set to launch on April 30 for Meta Quest and Steam VR, publisher Beyond Frames Entertainment and developer Cortopia Studios have announced.

Positioned as the first first-person virtual reality experience in the long-running Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles franchise, Empire City places players directly in the role of the four iconic brothers—Leonardo, Raphael, Donatello, and Michelangelo—as they fight to reclaim New York City.
The story unfolds in the aftermath of Shredder’s fall, leaving a power vacuum that allows the Foot Clan to tighten its grip on the city. Players will step into this conflict, either solo or in cooperative play for up to four players, shaping their own version of the Turtles’ legacy.
Gameplay in Empire City is built around first-person combat and traversal, with each Turtle wielding their signature weapons. Players can engage enemies using precise strikes, blocks, and evasive maneuvers, while also utilizing gadgets and upgrades crafted through Donatello’s workbench system. Movement plays a key role as well, with parkour mechanics allowing players to scale rooftops and navigate the urban environment fluidly.
The experience combines narrative-driven progression with cooperative gameplay, offering multiple ways to approach combat encounters and explore the city. With its VR-focused design, Empire City aims to deliver a more immersive take on the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles universe.
