Rebel Wolves, the studio founded by The Witcher 3 veterans, has officially announced a “Road to Launch” event for their highly anticipated dark fantasy RPG, The Blood of Dawnwalker.

On April 28 at 6 PM CEST, the studio will finally pull back the veil on the game’s official release date. But that’s not all we’re getting. Rebel Wolves and publisher Bandai Namco are promising a massive info dump, including a brand-new story trailer, system requirements, and an in-depth look at open-world gameplay in the mysterious Vale Sangora.
Set in a plague-ridden 14th-century Europe, you’ll step into the boots of Coen—a “Dawnwalker” caught between the worlds of humans and vampires. According to Game Director Konrad Tomaszkiewicz, the stream will highlight the gameplay tweaks the team has been polishing over the last few months, especially regarding open-world activities.
We already knew the game was slated for a 2026 release on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam and Microsoft Store, but having an actual date on the horizon makes it feel very real. Whether you’re here for the gritty Carpathian atmosphere or the pedigree of the developers, this is one showcase you won’t want to miss.
