The 7th Guest Remake is now available to wishlist on Steam, with publisher Vertigo Games confirming a cross-ownership bonus that grants players free access to its VR counterpart at launch.

Players who purchase the remake upon release will receive The 7th Guest VR at no additional cost via SteamVR. The offer also works in reverse: existing owners of the VR version will automatically gain access to the remake when it launches later this year. Pricing for the remake is set at $19.99 / €19.99 / £17.99, though regional variations may apply.
Originally a landmark title in the mystery-adventure genre, The 7th Guest returns with a full modern overhaul, combining updated visuals, redesigned puzzles, and new volumetric video technology. The remake places players inside a haunting narrative set within a mysterious mansion owned by the elusive Henry Stauf, where six guests are drawn into a dark and unsettling game.
Built using newly recorded volumetric performances, the game integrates live-action actors directly into its 3D environments, creating a more immersive and cinematic experience. Players will explore shifting rooms, uncover hidden secrets, and solve interconnected puzzles that evolve alongside the story.
No release date has been confirmed yet, but additional updates are expected soon.
