DaRmaZat Publisher Koei Tecmo and developer Omega Force will release Dynasty Warriors: Origins for Nintendo Switch 2 on January 22, 2026. On the same day, the previously announced large-scale downloadable content will also become available across all platforms.
Originally launched for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC via Steam in January 2025, Dynasty Warriors: Origins has already shipped and digitally sold more than one million units worldwide. The game reimagines the Three Kingdoms saga, spanning from the Yellow Turban Rebellion to the climactic Battle of Chibi, placing players in the role of a nameless hero navigating war-torn China.
Players must face overwhelming enemy forces, making key choices that alter their journey while commanding massive armies in real-time combat.
