Publisher SOEDESCO and developer Senscape have announced that ASYLUM, the acclaimed supernatural horror adventure, is heading to PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch later in 2026.

Following its original PC release in 2025 – where it achieved a “Very Positive” rating on Steam – console players will soon get the chance to explore the dark halls of the Hanwell Mental Institute.
Inspired by H.P. Lovecraft’s works, Hammer Films, and 1980s European horror cinema, ASYLUM puts players in the shoes of a former patient haunted by unsettling visions.
The first-person adventure delivers around ten hours of gameplay focused heavily on environmental storytelling, intricate puzzles, and atmospheric exploration rather than cheap jump scares.
Built over a 15-year development period, the title relies on an oppressive atmosphere, deep psychological narrative, and a haunting score reminiscent of John Carpenter’s classic film soundtracks.
