Company of Heroes 3: Final Stand Announced as Standalone Roguelite Wave Defense Title

Relic Entertainment has announced Company of Heroes 3: Final Stand, an all-new standalone wave defense experience. Arriving on July 29 for PC via Steam, the game marks the 20th anniversary of the real-time strategy franchise. It will launch at $29.99 / €28.99 with a 10% launch discount, alongside an additional 20% bundle discount for existing Company of Heroes 3 owners.

Final Stand strips away traditional grand campaigns in favor of fast-paced, high-stakes defense. Players can command one of four iconic factions – US Forces, Wehrmacht, British Forces, or Deutsches Afrikakorps – either completely solo or in cooperative play. The standalone experience requires no prior ownership of the series and tasks players with digging in, building layered defensive structures, and holding the line across 12 escalating rounds of combat or pushing their limits in an Endless Mode.

The core loop relies on roguelite progression, offering faction-specific trees and persistent upgrades that open up different strategic possibilities with every run. Match variability is further enhanced by 18 dynamic in-game events and 36 distinct boss units equipped with special abilities. Launching with 5 specialized battlegrounds and 8 scalable difficulty levels ranging from newcomer to veteran, the title also includes new announcer voiceover performances and 4 unlockable premium faction cosmetic skin packs.
