DaRmaZat Developer Mezan Studios has released a brand-new narrative trailer for Nightscape, providing a deeper look at the game’s dialogue and overarching story progression. Scheduled to launch later this year, the atmospheric 2.5D adventure draws heavy thematic inspiration from ancient Arabian astronomy and mythology.
The narrative follows Layla, a young stargazer who has inherited her father’s deep passion for astronomy. Following a catastrophic event known as the Starfall, the bright Arabic constellations fell from the heavens, their names were forgotten by the world, and a consuming darkness washed over the land. With her father mysteriously vanishing during the chaos, Layla must venture across a fractured world to restore the sky and rescue him.
Accompanied by a loyal Goat Kid companion, players must rely on wit, courage, and celestial environmental manipulation to overcome obstacles. By wielding unique constellation powers, Layla can command the elements – such as summoning powerful gusts of wind or calling down rain – to solve intricate environmental puzzles and reshape the world around her.
Nightscape will be available on PC via Steam, PlayStation, and Xbox platforms upon its global release.
