Cygames has released the first “Meet the Crew” character trailer for the upcoming expansion Granblue Fantasy: Relink – Endless Ragnarok, offering a comprehensive look at the new playable fighter Beatrix in action. Granblue Fantasy: Relink – Endless Ragnarok is scheduled to launch on July 9 for PlayStation 4 & 5, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC via Steam, with a closed beta test set to take place from March 13 to 16.

The new footage highlights Beatrix’s aggressive combat style, showcasing a mix of rapid sword techniques and high-speed abilities across several battle sequences. By emphasizing explosive slashes and mobility-focused attacks, the trailer positions Beatrix as a high-damage frontline character capable of shifting the momentum of any encounter. These gameplay glimpses also hint at her synergy within the game’s cooperative framework, illustrating how her finishers can be integrated into party-based combat scenarios. Beatrix is voiced by Aya Hirano in the Japanese version and Jennifer Losi in English, marking the first of several character spotlights planned for the “Meet the Crew” series leading up to launch.
This upcoming expansion significantly builds upon the foundation of the original Granblue Fantasy: Relink by introducing a wealth of new narrative and systemic content. The story continues within the Zegagrande Skydom, where the fall of Astral Lilith has given rise to mysterious entities known as ragnalia. These threats emerge from unstable gateways, pulling skyfarers into unpredictable regions of the skies and forcing the crew to adapt to a changing world.
To meet these dangers, the combat system has evolved to include equippable summon abilities. Players can now activate these powerful entities mid-battle, with some offering brief moments of direct control while others unleash large-scale primal attacks. This deepened combat is mirrored in the progression system, where new master traits allow for more granular character specialization.
Beyond the core campaign, Endless Ragnarok introduces substantial updates to replayability and online functionality. A new solo-focused mode called The Conflux offers shifting conditions and unpredictable challenges for those seeking to test their individual skills, while the cooperative experience is bolstered by additional quest tiers and new boss encounters. Furthermore, the expansion introduces full cross-platform support, ensuring that four-player cooperative sessions are seamless across all available systems.
