Nintendo has announced a special presentation dedicated to its upcoming animated film, with The Super Mario Galaxy Movie Direct scheduled to air on March 9. The broadcast will begin at 2:00 p.m. PT / 5:00 p.m. ET / 22:00 p.m. CET.

The presentation will stream on YouTube across Nintendo’s regional channels in America, Europe, and Japan. According to the company, the broadcast will showcase the final trailer for the upcoming film. Nintendo has clarified that the event will focus entirely on the movie, and no game-related announcements or updates will be included during the presentation.
The Super Mario Galaxy Movie is set to premiere on April 1 in the United States, with additional international markets following throughout April depending on the region.
The film expands the familiar Mario universe beyond the Mushroom Kingdom, sending the iconic plumber on an interstellar adventure. This time, Mario ventures into outer space, traveling across cosmic environments and strange planetary worlds filled with new challenges.
In the story, Mario and Luigi are joined by their new ally Yoshi as they team up with Princess Peach and Toad for a journey across the galaxy. Along the way they encounter Princess Rosalina, a mysterious guardian connected to the stars, while confronting a new threat led by Bowser Jr., the ambitious son of Bowser.
