The survival sandbox game Soulmask will officially leave Early Access and launch in its full version on April 10 for PC via Steam and Epic Games Store. The 1.0 release will arrive alongside a major expansion titled “Shifting Sands,” introducing a new region inspired by ancient Egyptian mythology.

Originally entering Early Access on May 31, 2024, Soulmask has steadily evolved through updates and community feedback. The full release significantly expands the experience with new gameplay modes and additional systems designed to deepen progression and tribe management.
Three new modes—Survival, Tribe, and Warrior—are being introduced with the launch version. These options offer different ways to approach the game’s sandbox systems, whether focusing on traditional survival mechanics, strategic tribe development, or combat-oriented challenges. The update also adds major features such as the Tribesmen Position System, an Unlimited Build Mode, a new Tribe Upgrade System, and customizable boss encounters that allow players to tailor their battles.
Launching alongside the full version is the “Shifting Sands” downloadable content, which transports players to a vast new world blending ancient Egyptian mythology with mysterious alien technology. The expansion introduces an entirely new environment comparable in scale to the base game and is designed to offer hundreds of hours of exploration and progression.
Within this new region, players can begin their journey directly in the expansion if they choose. The adventure revolves around collecting the masks of Egyptian gods, granting powerful abilities that reshape combat and exploration. Players will also gain access to new tools and structures, including the ability to construct a mobile airship base while uncovering the secrets of a forgotten dynasty tied to themes of gods, death, and immortality.
