Publisher indie.io and developer Cosmoscouts will release the interstellar first-person shooter adventure Moon Mystery for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series on September 18 for $19.99. The game first appeared on PC via Steam in October 2024.

Moon Mystery follows a lone astronaut who loses contact with Earth and embarks on a journey across the universe, beginning with the barren surface of the Moon. What starts as a mission of exploration quickly transforms into a desperate attempt to survive, as players uncover the fate of a previous lunar expedition and the role of advanced AI technology in the disaster.
The game combines action and puzzle-solving while sending players through abandoned bases, hostile environments, and alien worlds. Oxygen management and platforming are essential to survival, while piloting a range of vehicles—from lunar rovers and RC cars to spacecraft and even submarines—opens new ways to traverse its strange landscapes.
Beyond environmental hazards, players encounter malfunctioning robots and more mysterious adversaries lurking in the shadows. Keeping weapons and oxygen supplies ready becomes critical as the story unfolds, building toward answers about humanity’s true purpose for returning to the Moon.
