Publisher Dotemu and developers Guard Crush Games and Supamonks have announced that arcade-style beat ’em up Absolum will launch for Xbox Series X and Series S on March 25. The game will also be available via Xbox Game Pass.

Absolum originally launched for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam on October 9, 2025, and has since sold more than 500,000 units.
Set in the fantasy world of Talamh, players rise against the tyrannical Sun King Azra and his Crimson Order after magic is outlawed. As part of a growing resistance, players must fight through enemy forces, restore magical powers, and challenge the regime threatening the realm.
The game blends arcade-style beat ’em up combat with roguelite progression systems. Players can choose from four distinct fighters, each with unique abilities, and combine melee attacks with spells, counters, and upgrades to develop their own combat style.
Absolum‘s levels feature hand-crafted environments, branching paths, and unpredictable encounters designed to encourage replayability. Co-op play also allows players to team up with friends to take on enemies and bosses together while restoring magic to the world.
