Harebrained Schemes, the acclaimed creators behind the Shadowrun Trilogy, have unveiled the first-ever story trailer for their upcoming survival horror RPG, GRAFT, set to release for PC via Steam.

Debuting during the 2026 Convergence Games Showcase, the new footage gives players a haunting look into the game’s narrative framework alongside fresh gameplay clips set within a dying, nightmarish megastructure known as the Arc.
In GRAFT, players must navigate a sprawling cosmic wasteland filled with techno-catacombs, self-replicating labyrinths, and bottomless chasms in a desperate bid to escape. Survival requires a visceral twist on traditional survival horror combat, forcing players to carefully manage scarce resources while fighting off feral experiments, bizarre abominations, and the ruthless agents of a rogue, mad AI. Along the way, players will encounter other desperate survivors, allowing them to form fragile alliances and navigate morally complex choices that directly alter the fates of everyone they meet.
The game’s defining feature is its body-modification system. To survive the horrors of the Arc, players must physically augment themselves by ripping Grafts from fallen enemies or harvesting hidden technologies. While these augmentations expand your combat arsenal and grant powerful new abilities, they come with a mental cost: each Graft floods your system with the foreign cravings, traumatic flashbacks, and psychological impulses of its previous owner, forcing you to cope with a slow, terrifying metamorphosis of the self.
