Developer Neon Giant and publisher KRAFTON have shared new details regarding the open-world design of NO LAW, their upcoming first-person cyber-noir shooter for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam, Epic Games Store, and Microsoft Store.

The studio is moving away from the sprawling, empty maps common in the genre to focus on extreme vertical density. Instead of following flat, predictable streets, the environment acts as a highly detailed urban playground where players must actively look up and use the architecture – leveraging crates, fire escapes, and low balconies – to infiltrate rooftops, uncover hidden ventilation shafts, and locate abandoned weapon caches.
Offering a wide array of sci-fi gadgets, military augmentations, and weapons that cater to entirely divergent playstyles, NO LAW is a narrative-driven experience that places players in the role of Grey Harker, a battle-worn veteran forced back into conflict within a decadent, neon-bathed metropolis ruled by vice. The gameplay blends stylized FPS combat with consequence-driven decision-making, allowing players to directly impact character relationships and story outcomes through their actions.
A release date for the title has yet to be announced.
