Echoes of Mora, the cozy narrative-driven adventure, launches on April 29, 2026 for PC via Steam with PC-VR support, as newly released key art and screenshots offer a fresh look at its underwater world and time-bending story. A playable demo is also currently available.
The latest visual update focuses on the game’s distinct atmosphere, showcasing the submerged village players will explore and the dual timelines that shape its narrative. These new assets emphasize the contrast between a forgotten present and a vibrant past, reinforcing the central theme of time manipulation that defines Echoes of Mora.
Set beneath the surface of a mysterious lake, the experience follows a journey through a drowned settlement where fragments of history remain accessible through so-called “Echoes”. These moments allow players to step back in time, uncover hidden clues, and influence events that ripple forward into the present. At the center of the story is Mora, a young girl searching for her missing brother, whose fate becomes intertwined with the player’s actions across timelines.
Exploration and puzzle-solving are closely linked in Echoes of Mora, with environmental challenges requiring careful observation and interaction across both time periods. The structure encourages experimentation, as choices made in the past directly alter the state of the world in the present, gradually revealing the truth behind the village’s fate.
The game supports multiple playstyles, offering both traditional PC controls and full VR compatibility. Players can freely switch between standard and VR modes within the same session, with motion-based swimming mechanics enhancing immersion when using compatible hardware.
