Warner Bros. Games has announced that LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight will now launch one week earlier, arriving worldwide on May 22, 2026 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store. The Nintendo Switch 2 version will launch later in 2026, though it can already be added to wishlists.
Standard and Deluxe Editions are available to preorder now. Players who preorder the Deluxe Edition will receive 72 hours of early access starting May 19, ahead of the official launch. All preorders include The Dark Knight Returns Batsuit at release, inspired by the acclaimed comic storyline.
LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight is a new open-world action-adventure game that follows Bruce Wayne’s journey to becoming Gotham City’s hero. The game draws inspiration from decades of Batman media—including films, television series, comics, and games—while combining DC storytelling with the signature LEGO humor associated with TT Games.

Players will also be able to unlock the Golden Age Batsuit, based on Batman’s original costume from Detective Comics #27 (1939). The suit will be available at launch for players who create or link a Warner Bros. Games account.
In addition, four new LEGO DC Batman sets are now available, each including digital in-game content redeemable when the game launches. The LEGO DC Batman Batman Logo set unlocks an exclusive golden Batsuit in the game. Meanwhile, the LEGO DC Batman The Batman Batmobile, Batman v Superman Batmobile, and Batman & Robin Batmobile sets each include a playable in-game version of the respective vehicle, along with an exclusive golden variant. These golden versions are only obtainable through the physical LEGO sets.
