Developer Oxide Games and publisher Stardock have released a new developer video blog for Ashes of the Singularity II, highlighting the Post-Human Coalition (PHC) faction and featuring new in-engine footage from the upcoming large-scale sci-fi RTS.

The PHC is one of the game’s three factions and consists of former humans who transferred their consciousness into a virtual existence. Their power is fueled by Turinium, a manufactured computation material that enhances their technological capabilities and influence on the battlefield. The new video offers a closer look at the faction’s identity and role in the ongoing conflict.
Ashes of the Singularity II is currently in development for PC via Steam and takes place in a near-future solar system where three factions—the United Earth Forces, the Post-Human Coalition, and the AI Substrate—fight for control of Turinium.
The sequel aims to streamline the series’ large-scale RTS gameplay with region-based base management and army formations that move and act as unified forces, while still supporting massive battles involving hundreds of units across planetary battlefields. A release date has not yet been announced.
