Classic SNES JRPG Collection Lufia I & II: The Sinistrals Saga Announced for 2027
DaRmaZat Taito and publisher Clear River Games have announced Lufia I & II: The Sinistrals Saga, bringing two beloved Super Nintendo 16-bit JRPGs – Lufia & the Fortress of Doom and its prequel Lufia II: Rise of the Sinistrals – to modern platforms in 2027.
Enhanced for modern play, the duo follows interconnected generations fighting against divine threats. Lufia & the Fortress of Doom centers on a young warrior descending from legendary heroes as he embarks on a journey alongside his childhood companion. Meanwhile, Lufia II: Rise of the Sinistrals charts the prequel origin story of the hero Maxim and his allies during their initial confrontation against the titular Sinistrals.
Lufia I & II: The Sinistrals Saga is scheduled for launch across PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam, complete with physical edition options on console.
