Simone Publisher Shoreline Games and developer Metis Creative – the Istanbul-based studio known for award-winning tabletop RPGs like Historica Arcanum – have announced WANE, an industrial noir, occult-themed turn-based tactical RPG coming to PC via Steam.
Unveiled during the PC Gaming Show Tokyo Direct, the video game debut from Metis Creative puts players in the shoes of Declan Wayne, a fading archaeologist whose deteriorating mind has transformed the realm of Ravelle into a shifting, memory-driven labyrinth.
In WANE, you’ll build a three-person party and fight your way through grid-based tactical encounters where positioning, cover, line of sight, and percentage-based combat are key. You’ll explore three biomes: the Ravellian Sanatorium, the Palace of Arvanshah, and the Death Pilgrimage to Erabel. Between roguelike runs, you’ll head back to Declan’s antiquarian shop to appraise, auction, and sell the relics you’ve found, using the profits to upgrade your base and fund the next expedition. With each descent, you’ll also uncover more of the story.
